I love the Oxygen Supreme II. It helps me feel better after I get a cold. The very next day my congestion seems to be almost gone. Is Oxygen Supreme safe to give to my 4 year old son? He has Autism and gets sick quite often. I was wondering if this might help his immune system.

Yes boiling will damage a lot of ingrediants in it. Microwaving food damages 90ish % of everything good in foods. Boiling also destroys much. Baking or adding heat always destroy. Steaming does little, like 15-20%..

If you're not already adopt a whole food vegan diet. With emphasis on vegetables, fruits,sprouted legumes and grains. Dont consume more then 10% of your calories from fat. Avoid gluten as in can really mess with the thyroid if you are sensitive. Try to work out three times a week for 20 min minimum. Eat the grains on workout days.  Do a healthforce cleanse. Juice. While Yacon root has been consumed by people for a long time, has yacon leaf?

I love VMG but this concerned me.  Maybe it's only a concern for people with diabetes, if at all.

The interest in yacon leaf motivated a team of researchers in 2011 to study the long-term effects of yacon leaf extract. They experimented with yacon leaf tea on diabetic rats for ninety days. The results were that long-term usage of yacon leaf caused kidney damage in the rats. Yacon leaf is no longer being considered as a possible therapy for diabetes.

Our products do NOT contain any chemical known to the state of California to cause reproductive harm.

An unscrupulous lawyers group, called the Environmental Resource Center, alleged that we, and countless other supplement and whole foods supplement companies, had things like lead in our products.  They have the right to allege this based on prop 65 which was initiated to protect consumers from inorganic lead (in drinking water, etc.).  They wanted us to “settle” with them for an undisclosed amount.  We refused because we had done nothing wrong.  They presented NO data that we had ANY toxic levels of anything.  We don’t.  They have broken the law in alleging this without proof and then not responding to us.  They will no longer take our calls or return emails.  Because this unproven allegation still exists in the California legal system, policy requires them to list this.  It is listed on many other products that are also free of any toxic chemicals.  This lawyer group has targeted many other companies as well.  They are unscrupulous snakes trying to extort money from anyone they can.

Their assertions are both false and not retracting them is illegal and immoral.  We are working on forcing them to remove this.

Hi,  I have recently learned that I have high copper in my body.  What is the mineral content of Vitamineral Green.  Could it effect my condition.  Thank You.

I have been using the zeolite the past few weeks and a Dr friend said that like bentonite it is abrasive and should not be used for more then a few weeks at a time. Does it have abrasive actions which could have negative implications after an extended period of time? I should add that I have been using it internally as part of my own detox program.

“Organic agriculture practices cannot ensure that products are completely free of residues; however, methods are used to minimize pollution from air, soil and water.”

In addition to the issues described above, the USDA is part of the US Government and can be lobbied by large corporations to water-down the organic standards to their liking.  Thus, the list of chemicals which are “approved” for use in the production of organic foods continues to grow.

Liver Function 101

Your liver is located underneath the rib cage towards the right side of your body.  Weighing around three pounds and about the size of our brain, the liver is the largest and most complex body organ, performing over 500 known functions that help to keep your body in balance.  Some of the more important liver functions are listed below:

Clearly, if you want to live a long and healthy life, keeping your liver in good shape has got to be a top priority.  Understanding and supporting the detoxification functions of your liver is one of the most important things you can do to keep your liver, and thus the rest of your body, healthy. 

Liver Detoxification Pathways

Each minute, fully one-third of all the blood in the body passes through the liver.  Being the principle organ responsible for detoxification, your liver constantly monitors the blood for compounds that might pose a danger to your health.  Your liver has two enzyme modulated detoxification pathways called Phase 1 (oxidation) and Phase 2 (conjugation).  Most of the dangerous toxins we are exposed to are fat soluble, which makes them very difficult to eliminate without the liver’s help.  In Phase 1, the liver uses over 50 different enzymes to oxidize toxins into a charged state that can either be eliminated by the body, or go through Phase 2.  Phase 2 uses a variety of different enzymes to attach the oxidized toxin to another molecule, thereby producing a water soluble compound that can easily be excreted through the kidneys or bile.

It is very important to have a balance between these two systems.  Some of the modified toxins coming out of Phase 1 are highly reactive free radicals that are even more damaging to body tissues than the original toxin.  Phase 2 needs to be functioning efficiently, so that toxins coming out of Phase 1 are quickly moved into Phase 2.  Otherwise, these modified toxins will linger within the liver and do significant free radical damage to liver cells.  Based on this understanding, you can see the importance of quality antioxidants for liver health.  It is also very important to NOT choose a product simply because it says it improves “liver health”,  because it might significantly increase the Phase 1 systems in your liver only, which is unwise unless your Phase 2 systems are working well enough to keep up with the increased load.

Unfortunately, it is highly common in modern humans to have a these two detoxification systems out of balance.  Some of the toxins we are exposed to put our Phase 1 enzyme systems into overdrive (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, dioxins, hydrogenated oils, pesticides, and char-broiled meats), and the Phase 2 systems can start to fall behind.  This slowly causes free radical damage in liver cells,  and eventually both the Phase 1 and Phase 2 systems become sluggish.  When Phase 1 detoxification is inefficient, you will notice that it takes a long time for the effects of any drug that you ingest (e.g., alcohol, pain medication, and caffeine) to wear off.  Symptoms of sluggish Phase 2 detoxification have been correlated with various chemical sensitivities and inflammatory diseases like hepatitis and arthritis.

In general, whenever your body is attempting to remove a lot of toxins (e.g., when you are doing a cleansing program, or are simply exposed to a lot of environmental toxins), your liver needs to have efficient and balanced Phase 1 and Phase 2 detoxification systems in place, or you may experience what is known as a “cleansing reaction.”  In this unpleasant situation, the body begins to throw off toxins through other organs in order to get them out of your body ASAP, producing uncomfortable symptoms such as diarrhea, mucus discharge, rashes, fever, headaches, nausea, brain fog, and fatigue.  Cleansing Reactions are often a sign that your liver is not functioning optimally and needs support.

Probiotics 101

We humans are comprised of some 100 trillion cells on average.  Shockingly, around 90% of these 100 trillion cells are single-celled microorganisms (bacteria, yeasts, and protozoa), most of which live in our intestinal tracts.  The human intestinal tract harbors one of the densest microbial communities found on Earth.  When healthy, we have about 3-5 pounds of microorganisms living in our gut in perfect symbiotic relationship with us - we give them a place to live, and they perform numerous functions which enhance our health.

When we are healthy, a relatively small number of ‘friendly bacteria’ strains make up the bulk of our intestinal ecology (around 85%).  These bacteria, known as probiotics (meaning: ‘pro-life’), enhance our health by producing essential metabolic activity that is equivalent in scope to one of our internal organs:

• Actively involved in the digestion and absorption of our food, as they produce a number of enzymes that breakdown carbohydrates, proteins, fiber and fats.
• Improve the bio-availability of many important micro-nutrients in the body such as zinc, iron, phosphorus, all of the B vitamins, calcium, copper, and magnesium.

The other 15% of our intestinal ecology are often called ‘unfriendly’ or ‘pathogenic’ microorganisms (e.g., Candida albicans, E. coli, and Salmonella).  It is important to note that these unfriendly microbes are a normal part of a healthy intestinal ecology.  It is only when these pathogenic organisms increase beyond the normal 15% that they create problems.

Unfortunately, there are a number of aspects of life in the modern world which damage our friendly bacteria and support proliferation of the unfriendly organisms: stress, antibiotics, refined sugars, low fiber foods (e.g., meat, dairy, and white flour), chemicals (e.g., pesticides, and herbicides), alcohol, medications (e.g., painkillers, NSAIDS, antacids), birth control pills, caffeine, cigarettes, artificial preservatives, chlorine and fluoride in tap water, radiation and chemotherapy, X-rays, mercury-containing dental fillings, carbonated beverages, and constipation.

Essential Fatty Acids 101

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are types of unsaturated fats that the human body cannot make on its own, yet are required for many important biological processes.  As a result, we must get these types of fats from our food in order to be healthy.  There are two types of EFAs – linoleic acid (LA or omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA or omega-3).

Our bodies can convert omega-3 into a host of other derivatives that are important for various biological functions: eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).  Our bodies also convert omega-6 into important derivatives such as gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). Significant sources of omega-6 include most fats of plant origin.  Significant sources of omega-3 include flax seeds, chia seeds, sachi inchi, hemp seeds, walnuts, purslane, organic non-gmo soy foods (not isolates), and with smaller amounts in many plant foods such as oats and oatmeal.

It has been estimated that the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids in the diet of early humans was around 1:1, but the ratio in the typical Western diet is between 10:1 and 30:1 due to increased use of oils rich in omega-6.  A large body of scientific research suggests that increasing the relative abundance of dietary omega-3 fatty acids in order to rebalance this ratio may have a number of important health benefits – increases insulin sensitivity*, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol*, decreases inflammation and joint pain*, reduces symptoms of autoimmune diseases and depression*, inhibits cancer growth*, improves weight management and cardiovascular health*, and much more.*

Friendly Fats™ vs. Fish Oils

Since most fish from the ocean are contaminated with significant levels of toxins (e.g., PCBs, dioxins, mercury, lead, herbicides, and pesticides) present in the water of the fish farm and/or wild marine environment where the they live, their oils must be purified to make them safe for human consumption.  Most fish oil products use steam or molecular distillation to produce an acceptable level of purity.  These processes use repeated applications of heat between 210 and 500 degrees F., high pressure centrifugal force, and harsh solvents such as hexane or ethanol.  Molecular distillation offers a higher level of purity, but this process permanently alters and degrades the natural structure of the oils, making them very difficult to digest.  Steam distillation offers a lower level of purification, but at least leaves the natural triglyceride structure of the oils intact.  Whichever process is used, exposure of these fragile oils to light, heat and air during this extensive processing prior to encapsulation or bottling can produce significant levels of rancidity in the end product. 

Many fish oil supplements have also been highly concentrated - some even boast as much as 95% omega 3 oils.  Unfortunately, individual nutrients in highly isolated form like this are not very absorbable and can actually rob the body of cofactors that these nutrients are normally found with in a food matrix.  Nature NEVER isolates nutrients for a reason.  Nutrients in a food matrix work together synergistically for optimum absorption, health and balance in the human body. 

Companies extract oil from fish because it is high in the important omega 3 ALA derivatives DHA and EPA.  All seeds found in nature (like flax and chia) contain zero EPA and DHA, only ALA and LA.  Preformed DHA and especially EPA, can and do cause harm to the body, such as blood that is too thin causing internal bleeding and hemorage, facial hair growth in women only, and inflammation from isolated, readily oxidized EPA and DHA.  Proponents of fish oils will point out the fact that the body does not convert all of the omega-3 fatty acids from plant oils into preformed EPA and DHA.  This is true and for a good reason.  The body contains feedback loops to prevent toxicity of nutrients.  Just like preformed Vitamin A (from isolated supplements and/or animal livers) is toxic at levels as low at 5000 iu per day, yet beta-carotene is non-toxic in any quantity.  Beta-carotene (from plants) is converted to Vitamin A as needed by each person’s unique biochemistry.

When give the correct source materials are provided (plant sourced omega-3s,) the body is very smart.  When one is deficient in EPA and/or DHA, conversion of omega-3s to EPA and DHA is large.  When the body has the optimum amount of EPA and DHA, the body will NOT convert anymore.  This feedback mechanism avoids any toxicity.  The body converts plant sourced omega-3s into DHA and EPA as needed, with no toxicity.  Men, women and children will convert at different rates per their needs and gender (women usually more because their biochemistry requires more).  Nature has figured this one out for us.

Fish oil supplements are popular because they contain preformed EPA and DHA, and thus bypass the natural protective mechanisms of the body to avoid toxicity.

The beauty of Friendly Fats™ is that it simultaneously addresses the two primary issues which can lead to poor conversion of ALA to EPA and DHA – lack of ALA and poor LA/ALA ratio – while at the same time providing many of the other nutrients that are important cofactors for the enzymes that accomplish this conversion (e.g., zinc, magnesium, vitamin B3 and B6).

The “...Fresh Nutrient Lock™” part:

If you start with the best materials but do not preserve their benefits, you have an inferior product.  HealthForce leaves no stone unturned here.  Our dark amber glass jars protect our products from the nutrient degrading effects of light.  Glass is also 100% moisture proof.  Glass is impermeable to gasses such as oxygen.  Glass does not out-gass toxins as plastic does.  However, all this doesn’t matter if the lid does not match these characteristics.  A chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link.  Therefore, we use rubberized metal lids that make a perfect seal on the bottle.  A few other companies use amber glass, but with styrofoam, foil, or paper liners that allow oxygen and moisture in either on the shelf, after being opened, or both. Additionally, we put an oxygen absorber in the bottle (that is the “swish” you hear when you open the bottle).  This packaging system makes a dramatic difference in the quality of the product, but you must have all of the elements present to not compromise the system.  Other packages start to degrade as soon as they are bottled.  Why put “antioxidant” in a package that is designed to oxidize them?

Because we go to such lengths and expense to preserve the integrity of our products, the “shelf life” is extremely long.  Even product made in our early years (21 years ago) still maintains full potency.  We put a 5 year shelf life on our products but it is truly indefinite.  This is the most expensive way to package products.  But isn’t potency important?

By far, the worst packaging, from a quality standpoint, is the metal/foil or the metal/foil and plastic pouches that are so popular today.  They have a “zip lock” type plastic seal that allow maximum oxidation and moisture into a product.  Furthermore, they out-gass the maximum amount of chemical toxins.  Glass does not out-gass.  The softer the plastic, the more chemicals it out-gasses.  Hard plastic bottles are inferior but the soft plastic lined foil bags are very soft and therefore very much out-gass chemicals.  Even BPA-free plastic out-gasses more of other chemicals instead of BPA.  If the pouch is flexible metal/foil, some of this soft metal can and does slough off into the product.

The   “Eco” part:

Our amber glass contains recycled content, and is 100% recyclable with no toxic outgassing when melted.  Glass is made from non-toxic, inert ingredients (silica sand, limestone, and ash).  The metal/foil and metal/foil pouches are NOT recyclable!  You have to through these things in the land fill and pullout the earth! ...And this for an inferior package that degrades maximum nutrients!

Our labels are printed on 100% post consumer recycled paper (produced with wind energy), are NOT bleached with chlorine or dioxin, and printed with soy inks.  We have been doing this for years (as soon as we could get a label company to do it for us).  This costs us considerably more every year.  However, we strive to have integrity in all areas.  We deeply care about Mother Earth and are willing to do everything we can to step up and protect and support her.

Magnetic Sanitization: HealthForce applies a two-stage magnetic process in the final stages of every product. As the product travels through a long tube, we apply a magnetic sanitization process that involves approximately 104 extremely strong, alternating north and south pole magnets. The product page for Vitamineral Green hasn't been updated yet, but on your homepage, the Vitamineral Green thumbnail says version 5.1!  Has any information on this new version been released, I can't seem to find any.  I'm eagerly waiting, thanks for making the best products ever by far!

Just taking teaspoon of Vitamineral Green daily for the past week.

I am feeling really wide awake throughout the day and feeling a sensation of overwhelming joy and elation.

It feels overwhelming emotionally and kind of uncomfortable.

It feels similar when I took Wellbutrin SR 100mg daily for ADD.

Does anyone have the same sensation or feelings.

Do not know anyone taking this powder form and wanted to reach out there.

What are the differences between version 5 and the last version? Do you know why the amount of macro nutrients (protein, vitamin c, D, calcium, etc.) are not listed on labels like all other green foods.

I heard Dr. Jameth talk about boiling the vitamineral earth when preparing it.

Won't boiling it kill all of the earthbiotics listed below?

Does the 120 Capsule bottle contain the same amount of powder as in the bottle containing 80 grams of powder?

According to your Product pages the Powder bottle contains 60 grams but the label at the following page says it contains 80 grams. Which is correct?

It is really bas to see that womens hide their health issue with their doctor, and it is really important for every one to share each and every this with the doctor..so that you could get help..

womens would reallly felling bad if they have ace. To sove this isue you can apply natural herbs like

1. Multani Mati (Indian heb in from of mud)

2. lemon abstract (natula herb)

3. Shikakai (this one is good for hair as well as skin, but remember you just need to wash your face. )

I take vitamineral green in the morning before I eat.  Then I wait about 40 minutes to eat.  Is it ok to start taking vitamin C (acerola cherry powder) right after I take the vitamineral green?  Or should I space the two out?

Last week I started the internal parasite formula, stuck to the advised doses. After a few days I got dizzy spells, when I lay down my head or stand up too quickly. Could this be a side effect? It is scary, to be honest, and I don't know whether I should continue the use. I am a healthy strong person normally, and not used to my body reacting this way.

Googling on the internt I found that too much wormwood can cause brain damage, strokes, seizures and dizziness. Could this be related? Maybe I am too sensitive? But my stomach felt better after the first caps already, and I had more energy, so it would be a shame to stop the cure...

Cannot really recommend a brand on this forum. Suggest you look for organic high quality brand. Would not recommend cheap ones from chinese supermarket as they can be dyed and be high in bacteria.

Hi Michael,

From what I have read, it is all in degrees as all foods on digestion create some acid ash. Processed foods and animal foods are acidifying... where as greens are most alkalizing. Fruits are moderately alkalizing but more acid than greens.

It is all about finding balance in your own body.

There are many thoughs on food combining and grains. I personally add carob, mesquite and sometime a little honey or coconut sugar and that works great for me.

Generally Warrior Food™ and fruit do mix well together in a blended smoothie. It may be that the sprouting and enzyme process with the rice and the separation from the starch make them go well together. I have read that in general the starch is what causes the issue when combined with fruit. Some people feel there is less of an issue when foods are blended.

It is key to listen to your body, if after drinking your smoothie everything feels good then you have created a good combination. I personally do enjoy berries in my Warrior Food™ smoothie.

Dear Michael

Personally I would increase my amounts of Greens including Vitamineral Green™ to provide more minerals to build my bones. The high amount of mineral like silica in greens like nettle are know to support bone building.

I personally usee essential oils and zeolite to brush my teeth to keep bacteria down.
